This week all of the residence in the lower mainland were sent a 17 day guide to the 2010 Olympic games.  In this guide there are 17 reasons to live in Vancouver or Buyer Real Estate here...It is fantastic and thank you to Derrick Penner for writing it!
 
Nestled at the foot of the Coast mountains on the edge of the Pacific Rim, Vancouver has been an attractive destination since Canada's aboriginal people first gathered on its shores to take in nature's bounty and bask in its favorable climate.
 
1-Location: Vancouver is Canada's gate wa to the asian Pacific, the country's bridge between Asia and the rest of North America.
 
2-Connections: Vancouver is a transportation hub, Canada's busiest port and airport with direct flights between 110 cities.
 
3- Climate: Warm Pacific currents deliver a temperate climate with winter high temperatures averaging 19C to 22C.
 
4- Quality of life: Vancouver consistentlyranks as a top livable city on many different rankings.
 
5- A growing population:  Vancouver's metropolitan area is home to 2.3 million people with projections it will grow to more than 3 million by 2030.
